Trains are a recurring means of transportation in the Red Dead series, appearing in all three installments. Several missions in Red Dead Revolver take place within, on top of, and alongside trains. The player first rides on a train during the mission "The Traincar", then proceeds to fight along the top of the train in the subsequent mission "Railroaded".
