Sonic The Hedgehog: Special Version (sometimes called Sonic 1: Special Version) is a ROM-Hack of Sonic The Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis. The game is a heavily edited version of the original game. The game plays just like Sonic The Hedgehog but with the ability to spindash (which functions just like Sonic The Hedgehog 2 & 3) and air dash/homing attack on enemies by pressing the jump button in the air whilst spinning.
