Pirate Starter Island is the starter island for new players who pick Pirates as their team, and is one of the two islands in the entire game that are non-PVP/Safe Zone areas with non-boss NPC enemies. If you pick the Marines team instead, you will spawn on Marine Starter Island. The island consists of a few houses in a circular shape surrounding a patch of grass.
