Historic Hagerman Barracks on the campus of the New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) in Roswell, New Mexico. The Gothic Revival style dormitory was constructed in stages between 1909 and 1952. The barracks are part of the New Mexico Military Institute Historic District. The District was added to the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties in 1984 (HPD 1008) and to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987 (NRHP District No. 87000907). NMMI is one of five military junior colleges in the U.S. and the only state-supported military college located in the western U.S. It includes a college preparatory four-year high school and a two-year junior college.
