Mega Man X: Command Mission, known as Rockman X Command Mission (ロックマンXコマンドミッション, Rockman X Command Mission) in Japan, is a spin-off game in the Mega Man X series. It was released in 2004 on the PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo GameCube. Unique to the series, it is a turn-based RPG featuring an extensive story. Chronologically, it is currently the Mega Man X game set furthest in the future, taking place in 22XX. However, it is also considered an alternate timeline set outside of the main storyline
