Batch of wind harvested tumbleweed which despite its association with the wild west is not native to the United States but rather Russia (Ukrain). Tumbleweed, considered by many to be a noxious weed, is also called Russian cactus, saltwort, buckbush, wind witch and prickly rolypoly. The plants spread their seeds by bouncing droping a portion of around 250,000 seeds on each bounce as they tumble along. Huntington Beach, Orange County, California.
