The Garrador (ガラドール, garadōru?), which roughly translates as "the clawer" in Spanish, were once human hosts that underwent physical enhancement through the use of the Plaga, a parasitic organism indigenous to Spain. Though successful in obtaining exceptional physical abilities, the Garrador also became uncontrollably aggressive, indiscriminately attacking anything that caught their eye. In response, their captors were forced to sew their eyelids shut and confine them to cells. This loss of sight
