A strong blitz tournament was held as part of the open chess festival St Petersburg Summer-2017. The winner is Alexey Sarana (Russia) who scored 9.5 points out of 11. Aleksandr Shimanov (Russia) and Cristobal Henriquez Villagra (Chile) are half a point behind. Thank to his superior tie-break, Shimanov became second. Sergei Lobanov showed the best result among juniors, while Dina Belenkaya and Daria Voit (she has recently changed her surname from Pustovoitova) excelled among women. Fi
