Insurgency Overview Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging (AWB) is an Afrikaans-South African far-right group fighting for an independent Afrikaner Republic. Consisting of approximately 6,000 members (as of 2016), AWB can be described as a white-supremacist, Christian nationalist group.
